Getting the message in to those who can't get out
Overview of TPFM
The Prisoner's Friend Ministries is a ministry dedicated to providing sound Biblical doctrine to those who are incarcerated, in addition to other services. The ministry also sends KJV Bibles, to any prisoner who requests a Bible. In addition, audio/visual tapes and cd's, and tracts are sent, and prisoners are invited to enroll in Bible Coursework.
Over the course of the years, over 15,000 prisoners have been sent materials ranging from Bibles and tracts, to the continuous Bible courses. Approximately one case of Bibles (24) are sent out each week. We have enrolled over 4,100 in our coursework presently.
The Prisoners Friend Ministries invite all prisoners to become a part of what we call the Nine Course Study. This is a (free) 9 course progressive study, starting each student in a course called Walk With Me Through The Word, which introduces the student to such subjects as The Battle For Your Mind and the leads them through repentence, is water baptism necessary, baptism in Jesus name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost in combination with other truths such as the gifts of the Spirit. Upon completion of each course, the student takes an exam and mails it back to us. With a satisfactory grade reported; the next course is sent to the student. At the completion of the 9 courses, a certificate of completion is received.
During these courses of study, we have received wonderful letters of testimony. Prisoners are leading other prisoners to the Lord, and through the Word of God. There has been a great out pouring of the Holy Ghost in some of the cell blocks; and prisoners are absolutely begging for Jesus name, ministers of the Gospel to come and baptize them according to Acts 2:38.
We send a birthday and Christmas card to each prisoner who has enrolled as a student, and those that keep contact with us. This year we sent out nearly 3,000 birthday cards.
We offer a PROTECTED PEN PAL PROGRAM, and CERTIFIED CHAPLAIN PROGRAM to those who wish to be involved in the Prison Ministry. Please check out our forum pages about those programs.
Young, old, Christian, sinner, wealthy, and poor - this is a field wide open for the message of Jesus Christ.
